From Halifax by car:  From the McKay bridge, continue straight (highway 111). Take exit 6B towards Main Street Dartmouth NS-107/Eastern Shore. Continue going straight, east towards highway 107, Eastern Shore. Exit 19 and exit 20 will bring you to Porters Lake. Exit 20 is the business district.
